This review is from: C Tech Pocket Rock-It S1 Standard Guitar Headphone Amp I love this thing. Looked a little cheap, but it works great! I use it almost everyday. My wife loves it more than me. I can sit right in the living room and play. I plug my ipod into it and I can play along with any song while she watches TV right next to me. 1 of 3 people found the following review helpful: ![]() By This review is from: C Tech Pocket Rock-It S1 Standard Guitar Headphone Amp I was eager to get this little guy and try it out - although not as eager as my wife! My first impression was the poor quality of the plastic - very cheap, reminiscent of toys you'd get from the dollar store. Not letting that get in the way of my wife's sanity, I plugged it up to my pedal steel guitar. Making sure I selected the "CLEAN" setting, I turned it on and tried it out. Even the CLEAN setting caused significant distortion. However, it could be the fact that I had a pedal steel guitar and the pickup may have been producing a HOT output. The sound was so distorted and that I can't use this for my PSG, but I will try it on my "traditional" electric guitar. If that doesn't yield better results, I will throw or give it away. |
