It Still Doesn't SOUND Right!!, April 23, 2011 This review is from: Mini Plug N' Play Guitar Amp I've owned two of these units; one of their original design and one with the normal single setting and the new on with the normal and an overdrive setting. Unfortunately, while the company gives great service, will usually take things back and seems still to be making the unit better, it is still about two leagues below the sound quality of the smokey cigarette box amp, especially their new more powerful one. There's just really no comparison, Even the tiny Vox units blow this thing away, One other serious problem is that if you happen to use a guitar with a non-standard input switch -- like my truly fun and fine Wendler -- which plugs in under the pick guard, you will scratch the light Cherry wood every time you put the unit in or take it back out. So then you have to decide whether to re-sand the whole body or just leave it looing rather ugly, though it's not such a bad contrast if YOU, like me, happen to be a bit gle yourself!!
